FAQ

  • What happens if there is severe weather?
    None of the tents or shelters in Malone Park are suitable for protection from Lightning, Torrential Rain, High Winds or Tornados. The approaching threat of Severe Weather may cause the festival grounds to be evacuated.
  • What happens to the carnival rides if there is a storm during the 4th of July Festival?
    If storms with a history of lightning approach the festival, the elevated carnival rides will be shut down until the threat passes.
  • Is there "Reserved Parking?"
    These parking spaces are open to those who need accessible parking. Spaces are not assigned and only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Should we bring our own chairs for the duration of fireworks or drone show?
    Yes – attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating during both the fireworks and drone show.
  • Are carry-in items permitted? (IE food or drinks)
    For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, outside items such as food, drinks, and coolers, are not allowed to be brought into the venue/festival grounds.
  • How long does the shuttle service run?
    Durham School Bus Services will be transporting festival-goers between Ronald Reagan School and the festival grounds — with additional stops at the ARC! Park at Ronald Reagan School (4225 S. Calhoun Rd, New Berlin, WI) and hop on a FREE shuttle to the Festival Grounds. Shuttle Stops Include: New Berlin Activity & Recreation Center Ronald Reagan Grade School (outer parking lot) Festival Grounds – pick-up/drop-off at the crosswalk on the north side of National Ave., just west of Casper Dr. Shuttle Hours: Friday, July 4th & Saturday, July 5th 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
